Snohomish High School Football season kicks off

Panther Football practice - Wednesday Sept. 2, 2009

Snohomish High School Football kicks off this 2009 season as the team practices in beautiful weather this Wednesday. The season openener is away against Kamiak this Friday (Sept. 4th) with the first home game vs. Marysville-Pilchuck on Sept. 11th.

One of the best features of living in Snohomish is the vibrant sports scene. The founder of this online community blog has a lot of ideas where both high school athletics and local club sports such as Little League, Snohomish Club sports and high school exposure. Most of the commentary will be of those in season except for local club sports which can run much of the year.

I am hopeful that participation by Snohomish residents directly involved in the local sports scene such as coaches, parents, athletes, trainers and club or Little-League board members would consider contributing to this effort by making guest posts as a contributor.
